Converting Pond Sludge to Electricity

In Ben Tre Province, a group of scientists from Japan’s Kyushu University and Ho Chi Minh City National University’s Nanotechnology Lab have implemented a project to generate electricity from shrimp pond wastes.  According to Yusuke Shiratori, head of the project, hydrogen will be extracted from shrimp pond sludge to create electricity with a fuel cell system.
