Workshops on Shrimp Feeds

USAID and Kasersart University will host a regional workshop March 9, 2015, in Bangkok, Thailand, on Improved On-Farm Shrimp Feed Management Practices.  The workshop will provide shrimp feed manufacturers with recent advances in feed ingredients, feed manufacturing technology and use of feed additives.

It will highlight the important economic and social role played by small-scale shrimp farmers within the region and the critical need for the commercial shrimp feed manufacturing industry to closely monitor and technically assist this important sector, the sector most vulnerable to the use of unsustainable farming practices and disease risks.

The workshop will take place at Kasetsart University, Sutham Areeku 1 Conference Room, Kasetsart University Golden Jubilee Building Administration and Information Center, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand.
