Guolian Will Fight 18 Percent Subsidy Duty

China’s leading exporter of frozen warm water shrimp, Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products, Co., Ltd., said that it will fight the subsidy duty imposed on it by the USA Department of Commerce.

In its final ruling, the USA Department of Commerce imposed a countervailing duty of 18.16 percent on frozen warm water shrimp from China, which was much higher than the 5.76 percent duty set in the preliminary ruling on May 29, 2014.
