CP Foods—Changes Policy on Broodstock Sales

Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF, also called the "Chia Tai Group" in China) has the capacity to produced 500 to 600 thousand pairs of broodstock a year and currently supplies 100 thousand pairs a year to shrimp hatcheries in Vietnam and more than 100 thousand pairs a year to hatcheries in China.  A company document indicates that on January 1, 2016, it’s going to shift from a policy of selling just broodstock to one of selling a combination of “high-quality broodstock—plus feed”.
