Guolian Predicts Big Second Half Profit

China’s largest shrimp company, Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products, has forecast net profits of up to $10.8 million for the first half of 2017, a 730% increase compared to the same period in 2016.

Guolian attributes the improved performance to the development of sales channels abroad and in China, especially in the domestic foodservice sector.  It also highlighted internal teamwork and new products as contributing to its financial comeback.
