Al Jaraf Fisheries, one of the leading commercial seafood producers in the Middle East, farms food fish, aquarium fish and shrimp (Penaeus indicus) on Barmid Island, a 15 minute drive and a five minute boat ride from Abu Dhabi.  Its 74-hectare shrimp farm, the only shrimp farm in the UAE, utilizes lined, two-meter-deep ponds.

 

It has one position open for a P. indicus/P. monodon hatchery technician and another for a  shrimp farm technician.
